Viva Cinco de Mayo opened in December 2016 and is located on Madison Ave, in Albany, NY. Since then, we have been creating and serving authentic Mexican dishes to the greater capital district.

Using only the freshest ingredients our food is inspired by Oaxacan cuisine. Viva Cinco de Mayo is a true taste of Mexico. Start with a delicious nacho dish, then try something new, like one of our mole sauce or chiles rellenos. If you're feeling less ambitious the tacos, tostadas, or burritos will not disappoint. Don't forget to finish with flan; a classic Mexican dessert.

Also if you happen to be a vegeterian like my wife, they will help you customize any order with various veggie options. I had the chipotle chicken tacos. AMAZING"

  • This place is awesome.  Great AUTHENTIC Mexican food.  I had the Molcajete dish served in a lava bowl. We shared Beef and Beans Nachos as the appetizer.  It was more than enough for two. Seasoning is outstanding. Looking forward to going again.
